How we report

Every story on The Curator is grouped from independent reporting, drafted into one neutral account with AI assistance, and reviewed by an editor. Here is each step, and what you can check yourself.

Several sources, or no story

We only write a story when several independent outlets are covering the same event. One report is not enough. Each story lists the outlets it was built from, with direct links where we have them, so you can open the original coverage.

One neutral account

Our pipeline groups the overlapping reports and drafts one calm, neutral account with AI assistance. The aim is clarity, not to replace the reporting it comes from: where it matters, facts are attributed to the outlets that reported them.

An editor reviews it

An editor reviews each story against its sources before it is published, for accuracy, balance and clarity. If something can’t be supported by the sources, it doesn’t go in.

You can report a problem

Every story has a Report button. Tell us what is wrong and it goes to an editor, who checks it against the original sources.

  • Inaccurate
  • Biased
  • Misleading
  • Broken media
  • Source issue
  • Other

A story can be corrected, updated as the reporting develops, or taken down.

Images keep their credit

Pictures come from the source feeds, licensed stock providers or our own fallbacks. We keep the image credit wherever it exists, and we don’t use an image that changes what a story means.
